Glenn Beck Equates Ron Paul Supporters With Timothy McVeigh

Glenn Beck of CNN Headline News—even though he is a professed Libertarian—has equated (last night) Ron Paul supporters with Timothy McVeigh, and he has indicated that we are at least part of the "enemy within"; that we may be terrorists in the making.  The fear-whip was frothy and thick.  He warned Americans about our dangerous Ron Paul rEVOLution, and seemed to postulate that we were trying to undermine and destroy America.

Apparently, Glenn has not listened very well (if at all) to Ron Paul's actual message, or to Ron Paul's patriotic followers, whose only goal is to return America to its foundational principles as outlined in the constitution.  Beck, himself, quoted the word encapsulating our central theme, but did it so hastily—and thoughtlessly—that it could barely be noticed, as he pointed out how our military is sworn to defend the "CONSTITUTION" from "threats" (that's the word he was rushing toward), both foreign and domestic.  The irony of how badly he twisted his quote, in order to turn the actual CONSTITUTIONALISTS (us), into a domestic "threat", to the one thing they are actually seeking to defend, is astounding!  I almost got the feeling, that if he could have gotten away with substituting another word in place of "constitution", in the quotation, as the thing our government is supposed to be in business of defending, that he might have done it!

I think it would be appropriate to ask Mr. Beck and CNN for a public apology, and for a clear disavowal of the slanderous comments he made against us and Dr. Paul, last night.  It would also be appropriate for him to be required to do some actual research into Ron Paul and his followers, and to make up for his dangerous incitement against us, by producing a segment of his show to point out the positive and astounding following Paul is attracting, due to the deep longing, in so many hearts, for "Life and Liberty" to be restored in America.

Tell Glenn that we are NOT violent.  In fact, most of us would like for America to actually tone down the knee-jerk resort to violence, as a problem solver, which we've been seeing way too much of since 911.

Glenn, you owe us a BIG apology.

I wonder, was he put up to this by the White House, or by the GOP leadership?  He had done a segment not that long ago, in which he had almost seemed sympathetic to Ron Paul (with the exception of calling him a "spoiler"—the word that is always used to suppress non-establishment candidates).
